Shavu Based in: Cologne/Germany, Kigali/Rwanda Shavu is a rwandan-german singer and songwriter. Her music is hard to be defined as only one genre. She mixes Neo-Soul, Reggae and R’n’B and as well switches between singing and spoken word. Currently living in Cologne, Germany and Kigali, Rwanda she is about to release her first album callled “In Our Art“. Her songs take the listeners through emotional hills and valleys, they tell stories of diasporic experiences and afro-identities.
